Chapel Hill, NC (1-17-14)--Seniors Barry Betha clocked a 49.80 and Lorenzo Johnson jumped 4.15 m (13-07.25) in the pole vault en route to capturing gold at the Gene Anderson Invitational which was noted by UNC-Chapel Hill last Friday (11-17).

Orangeburg, S.C.—The SC State men's and women's indoor track and field teams will to travel to Chapel Hill, N.C. tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 17, to participate in the Gene Anderson Invitational hosted by UNC Chapel Hill.

Clemson, SC--Senior Xavier Molette threw a 16.44 meters (53-11.25) en route to earning gold in the weight throw at the Clemson Orange and Purple Classic last Saturday (1-11).  Molette also finished fourth in the shot put.
